  3rd - 5th grades:  Every Early Release Friday we will study a composer and listen to music from different musical eras.   Mondays and Tuesdays, we will learn about operas. 3rd Grade:   Introduction to the opera "Hansel & Gretel" by Humperdinck Composer:   Claude Debussy   4th Grade:   Introduction to the opera bouffe "Pirates of Penzance" by Gilbert & Sullivan Composer:    Edvard Grieg   5th Grade:   Introduction to the opera bouffe "Pirates of Penzance" by Gilbert & Sullivan Composer:  Samuel Barber
